have been an awesome bill fan since late ’70s.watching 2010 daytona 500 right now.tv people said at start of race that mark martin had the most 500 starts of the field-25.surely bill has more than that?go bill!!!

Bill Elliott is the most still the best driver ever in my opinon. I had the pleasure of meeting him on several occasions he is a awesome driver and a class act. Go get em on Sunday Bill you are #1 in our book.

Cindy I agree if you ever put a reunion together up in Dawsonville my wife and I will be there. As I said before have geat memories of fan appreciation day up at the old shop.Will be at the 500 wearing my Bill Elliott shirt proudly.

You’ve got me. The bottom of the line up says they set the field by owners points which would take Bill off the front row I guess. That’s NASCAR for you.

That would be absolutely awesome if you came back for a year or two? I have been an awesome bill fan since 1994. We even took a road trip from our home in Idaho Falls, Idaho to see Dawsonville and had some sweet tea in the pool room. Almost got into an altercation with Todd Bodine at Pocono when he wouldn’t sign my Bill elliott T-shirt.

Bill you are the man. I met you in the early 1990′s in Asheville NC at a Nascar event. My dad was in the hospital after heart surgery and not doing well. I had to get out for a minute. When you came up, shook my hand and talked to me like I was an old friend; I was hooked. In my eyes, there are no other driver’s. Dad got better, but was still very sick. He was able to see you win at Pocono and Indy in the #9 Dodge. Him sitting next to me cheering and hollaring for you in those final laps is something I will never forget. He is gone now, but come Sunday my little 4 year old girl and I will be screaming and hollaring side by side. Give them Hell Bill and go out and have some fun!!!

I just saw the Gatorade duels line-up. Why is Bill in the opposite duel than he should be in? I thought it was even qualifers in one, and odd qualifers in the other. still and AWESOME LAP !!!!!
