Raymond Parks should have went into the Hall Of Fame with Bill France and Bill Jr. Neither France would be there without the help of Raymond Parks.

Hello,
This is Terrie Parks, Raymond Parks is my Uncle, just wanted to say thank you so very much for your comments on my Uncle, today makes 2 months to the day that he passed.
I worked with Uncle Raymond and my dad (Frank Parks - (his brother)), for over 25 years,
and while most know him as a legend of Nascar, well he was much more than that, he was
an Awesome Uncle too, I worked for Northside Dr. Beer & Wine, Northside Dr. Liquor and his and my dads amusement company Parks Amusement Service.. Although he never would tell it, he helped alot of people over the years, he was a great man...I am so honored to have so many memories of my uncle. One of them I'd like to share with you,
When he would be driving down the road and see me on the opposite lane, he would swerve over into my lane as if he was playin' chicken with me, at the same time he would have a big grin on his face with his hand up waving at me, and he used to bring pictures down to the shop (Parks Amusement - in the basement of the Liquor store), to show me of the old days, telling about the stories back then..
Words can't say how much he meant to me and the rest of our family along with friends.
He will be forever in our hearts, we love you and miss you so much Uncle Raymond...
Also, I would like to say that I did have the pleasure of meeting you Mr. Elliott, but you may not remember it, at the Thunder Road Museum banquet May 11, 2002, Hope I got the year right.. I had my picture made with you..
Just want to say thanks again for your kind words for my Uncle...
