Bill Elliott is the driver who got me interested in NASCAR, and the driver who kept my interest. Wonder how many championships Bill would have won with some of the teams that other drivers have had, like Earnhardt or Jimmy Johnson? I personally think Bill is one of the top two or three most talented drivers of all time, and I’d certainly pick him over Earnhardt Jr. or Sr. any day of the week.

It is my fervent hope to see Bill run a full schedule again. Awesome Bill forever!!!!!!!

I agree with JMA post ! Go drive the number 9 next year. Driving for the king maybe the thing to do. I don’t mean to sound negative toward to woods brothers but if you look at nascar history, they havent done much since david pearson except a win here and there. It would be cool to see Bill finish his racing career in the number 9, that’s Bills signature car number. As far as full time or part time that’s another story but what ever Bills does, he has my support as a fan.

BILL,.why not take over the no. 9 car next year. This seems like the natural thing to do.what a match up, awsom Bill and the KING, not to memtion the no. 9 (maby the red coco cola car). You reborn Ford in the eightys, (wow) maby again.

I’ve been a Bill Elliott fan since 1984 and I got to meet Bill at the Kroger store in 1990. Bill you may not have 200 victories, or 7 championships. But I never seen you wreck someone to win, or have thousands of people climb the frontstretch fence to give the number 3 the middle finger and I never saw you get booed by 160,000 people like the number 24 got at bristol in 1998. But what I have seen was you on the pole at my first nascar race, and a stratigist who is well respected with 10 to go running in the top 5. hi..hang in there u still can get the job done. ever since i found nascar back in 1980 u have been my favorite driver…i would like too see your team gamble some times with two tires and track position for a better finishes..thanks

RPM & WBR gonna merge? Need to unless something better is in the offing. I know there has to be a sponsor somewhere in the WORLD that wants a former champion with Bill’s personality and talent. And a “somewhat” guarantee with the provisional, which he has used only a couple of times since hooking up with the Woods. How many times in how many races has Bill had to use the provisional with the Woods? And how many times have they missed a race since they teamed up? I can only think of 2 or so. Somebody get on that and let me know. I have an Inquiring mind.

As a life long fan, I hope you continue for a long time. Last year at Kansas Speedway you were signing autographs before your qualifying run and I asked you if you’d consider 1 or 2 more full seasons. You said if the right deal came along. I for one am praying, assuming the sponsorship was there, that you go back in the red #9 next season since Kasey is moving to Hendrick.

Bill cant wait to see you race at chicagoland speedway.I’m your biggest fan and have been for the past 25 years.I had the oppurtunity of interviewing you for your fan club at Indy back in 2006.You still got what it takes.Hopefully Hyder will have the 21 car dialed in for a good run.
