DW’s sarcastic remark that Bill needs to run the full season to have more time to get the car set up, just irked me. It was like saying Bill wasn’t good enough to get the right info to the crew chief in the short amount of time they have. I thought we were through with him and Hammon’s when fox left, but Speed had to hire them. Wally and Kyle are definitely the classier group.

I THINK BILL’S COMMENTS ABOUT “THE GUYS IN THE BOX” POINT OUT THAT THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE QUALIFYING SPEEDS ARE CLOSER THAN THEY HAVE EVER BEEN . LOOK AT THE FIRST THIRTY QUALIFYING TIMES. DW SHOULD KNOW THAT WHEN HE RACED THEY WERE NEVER THIS CLOSE. ALL BILL WAS SAYING IS THAT ITS EXTEMELY DIFFICULT TO GET THE SETUP WHEN YOU RACE A LIMETED SCHEDULE. YET HE AND THE WOOD BROTHERS STILL PUT TOGETHER A GREAT CAR. MAYBE DW SHOULD TRY RACING AGAIN….I’D LOVE TO SEE BILL PUT HIM IN HIS MIRROR…GO BILL

the thing i like about bill is he tells it just the way it is .. racing every week big advantage if he didnt have a great feel for a race car there would be no chance at putting car in the field i appreciate bill and the wood bros effort the only thing i say is bill is a legend and just has a lot of fun . dont take darrell wrong he knows bill can win races under the right situation. darrell has a lot of respect for bill . alot of people forgets that bill did win 44 races. and put a whipping on the field at the brickyard in 2001 i havent forgot and never will dad and i was there. thanks for the memories there special . go bill

Great qualifying effort guys.
I must say that after hearing Bill’s interview, he explained some of the W/B Racing Team troubles and I for one must apologize for some of my off the wall comments about how the 21 team had been running. They just need the correct resources and Bill we be up front again. I support Bill; even if he rides a donkey during the race and would pull for him to win.
I’m also glad the Bill finally set ole D.W. straight during that interview too.
