Bill I came to Dawsonville in July of this past year. I went to the pool room and the Hall of Fame Museum. I have been a fan of yours since the early 80′s. I had 3 Million Dollar Bills that Gordon was going to get signed for which he promised to do. I finally got them back this past week after many calls to him. The bills do not look like your signature. This really is a big let down to me . My name is Dave Ashley cell#304 -923-3230 home is 304-294-4835. I know what your signature looks like. I was at that race in 1985 and picked those bills up off the ground that the helicopter threw out.Have you changed you signature.

He has not changed his signature, if Gordon asked him to sign them he did. He signs every week. There is no need to send to Gordon or ask any special favor of any one. All fans send merchandise to our P.O. Box 1948 Dawsonville 30534 and it may take a while but it does not take that long.

I checked on this at lunch today and found out that our girls that do the autograph and shipping did in fact get the million dollar bills from Gordon and have Bill sign them and they did ship them back to you. So, I am sorry that you do not think that is Bill’s signature, but it really is. I myself was glad to find out that someone did NOT just forge his signature on such a authentic piece of memorabilia.

The only thing I have to say to Dave is if you don’t believe Bill & Cindy you’re not much of an Elliott fan! I can’t imagine that Gordon, Bill & Cindy don’t have anything else to do but to sign your 3 million dollars bill’s the same day they got them and then send them back Fed-ex next day air back out to you the very same day. Good grief, they are trying to run a race team for Chase, not a next day fan service for Dave! Nothing personal Dave, just trying to get you to realize the real world as it is. Between Bill and Chase they get stacks of things to autograph every day, they do the best they can. The team has to come first. (Don’t post this if you don’t want to Cindy, just had to vent, LOL.)

Bill and Walmart in a one race deal to celebrate Walmart’s 50th anniversary (July 2, 2012)-they will sponsor Bill at the Daytona 400 -July 7
I will be putting up a press release in a few minutes. It will be # 50 for their 50th anniversary and it will be prepared by Turner Motorsports. More to come soon.
