Chase Elliott to Make ARCA Road Course Debut in New Jersey
ARCA – 6/14/12
Defending Snowball Derby winner and current NASCAR K&N Pro Series East point leader Chase Elliott has filed an entry for the July 1 ARCA 150 presented by Global Barter at New Jersey Motorsports Park road course event for the ARCA Racing Series.
Elliott will be behind the wheel of the No. 9 Aaron’s Dream Machine-HendrickCars.com Chevrolet when he takes to the 2.25-mile Thunderbolt road course in New Jersey for the first time along with the other competitors of the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Elliott has two ARCA starts already this season, finishing 10th at Mobile and fourth at Salem.

Ted, I was at the Pocono race and Bill’s Walmart showcar was on display at a Walmart near the track. The driver of the hauler said all equipment will be Hendrick equipment that will be prepared by Turner Motorsports. Even the showcar’s hauler had Hendrick Motorsports on it. Guy seemed to know his stuff. The coolest thing was I got a picture with the car.

Any update on Bill’s run next month. I see nothing on Turner’s web site at all. This is my racing event of the year and would like to just know if they are working hard on it? I do know they named crew chief sometime back.

I am taping all the pre-race shows together. Great to see Bill & Chase last week. Bill seems to be enjoying himself during them. Just great to see Bill each week. I sure do miss cheering for him each week, cannot wait to watch Chase in the future when he is on TV weekly. He is working so hard. 2nd only to Kyle Busch the other day, that says a ton!!
For now, cannot wait until Daytona!!

Turner Motorsports is real good in trucks & Nationwide, I feel a real good top 10 is highly possible at Daytona, maybe even a win…what shock waves that would make!!!
